The ABC Men cutting series demonstrates the fundamental methods that lie at the heart of
the way Sassoon cut men’s hair and have underpinned every cornerstone look of Sassoon
creativity.

This chapter includes reading material relevant to the content of the course.

CHAPTER 1 | A SHORT HAIR

Series A, focuses on shorter layered hair, working with the contours of the head shape, with
natural outlines.

CHAPTER 2 | B LAYERS & GRADUATION

The B series shows how to combine layers with graduation and disconnection to control texture,
proportion and head shape.

CHAPTER 3 | LAYERS WITH GRADUATION

The C series focuses on various outline shapes, with internal lengths that give movement and
texture.
